CivilPM is a Road Design Project Management Software integrated into Autodesk Civil3D Environment.

CivilPM streamlines the process of quantity take-off, estimation, as well as project scheduling right from the design model.

Home Features Cost Estimation

Now, we’re ready to do the important task: estimating the cost for the project.

As usual, estimation always starts with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). In CivilPM, user can first create a list of tasks with just a name for identification. Then, user can allocate for the task all the required resource items (from the library built before) as well as the needed quantities (from the quantity table) as in the following steps:

1. Create Tasklist in form of Work Breakdown Structure

Typical tree structure of work items. A work item can be created from scratch or taken from the library of task items.

 2. Assign quantity to each task

Quantity are taken either from quantity table or cut and fill table of CivilPM.

3. Assign associated cost for tasks

Cost of each work item is the total cost of all resources that are needed to finish the work. Basic and composite resource costs are taken from the resource library.
