This library of suppliers, resources, and templates can be created from scratch or obtained from existing library from previous project.  From this data, we can create task list with work breakdown structure (WBS) and cost estimation for the project.

Quantity Take-off

Quantity take-off is one of the most important step in estimation process. In CivilPM, quantities can be taken straight from design drawings (from drawing objects like Corridor, Pipe Network or from CivilPM’s 3D Model).  Alternatively, they can be calculated based on the available design parameters.

Cost Estimation

The cost of the project depends on the cost of each specific task in work breakdown structure. The cost for each task, in turn, depends on the cost of all the resources that are needed to complete the task.

3D Model 

After the user used AutoCAD Civil3D to design, CivilPM retrieve those information and create the 3D model of the road.
